Both Lissettes and Kimberlys have lots of skilled, experienced and long-serving employees, however they are also willing to take on people inexperienced in the industry and provide support and on-the-job training alongside those longer serving and skilled operators. This helps new employees to learn and develop technical skills, knowledge and proficiency. Many of the newer operators in the companies, came to the job with no licences (sometimes not even a car licence!) and with little experience, and now hold several licences/NZQA qualifications and can drive several machines. This proves, that with enthusiasm, a good work ethic, and a desire to learn, there is room to take on more responsibility and move up in the companies.
